Meet Kimberly Leupold of Holistic Health Care Centers in Lisle

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kimberly Leupold.

Kimberly, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I was in a different career and felt there was something more I was meant to do with my life. I felt the need to help others and have always been drawn to the medical field. Through my mom, Penny Leupold, and her best friend, Lex Umbriet, I began learning about holistic care. I felt pulled to learn more and began my education in this field. Fast forward, I received professional training through Healing Touch Program. I earned my Master of Science of Oriental Medicine (MSOM) at National University of Health Sciences (NUHS). I became Board Certified through NCCAOM. I graduated valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude while also a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Franklin Honor’s Society (4.0).

While I value my education, my driving force is being a good mom and strong role model to my two beautiful children. They teach me every day. Through their beautiful souls and life experiences I have found a need to do more with Holistic Health Care Centers.

When I opened Holistic Health care Centers, LLC (HHCC) my son was two years old at the time. He help me cut the ribbon during the ribbon cutting ceremony. Through him and my daughter, I have brought in a family and pediatric aspect to HHCC that I found through being their mom.

Currently we offer many holistic services including acupuncture, colorpuncture, Healing Touch and various forms of Energy Therapy, massage, cupping, biofeedback and much more. HHCC has multiple practitioners. We focus on many health concerns including infertility and fertility support, pediatrics, pain management, weight loss, emotional issues, GI issues, and general health and wellness. Since HHCC is a center, we have the ability to focus on many aspects of our patient’s needs and their individualized care.

HHCC has four cornerstones of care including affordability. The center offers discounts to military, first responders, and others ways to keep our services affordable for our patients.

Both personally and professionally, I have learned of great deal of needs our youth has regarding traumatic experiences. I feel a need to help as a result. It’s like, once you know something you can’t ignore it. As a result I have to give what I can where I can to help. Starting this fall, we will offer a low cost community outreach clinic. We will offer a free community clinic for children who have experienced trauma and their immediate family. We will be working with Acupuncturist Without Boarders. The clinic will be called Ryley’s Rainbow.

HHCC recently leased a new space for the center. It is much larger and will offer even more treatment options. Our team is very excited about this new venture. We are updating the space, such a painting and giving it a very relaxing feel. Our patients will begin coming to the new center as of July 15th!

Has it been a smooth road?
Fortunately, I am very blessed. HHCC has had and continues to experience smooth sailing. HHCC was a passion that started for me almost twenty years ago. It feels as though as long as I stay in that passion, doors open easily, the right people and opportunities come across my path, and everything works well in a beautiful ebb and flow,

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Holistic Health Care Centers, LLC – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I like most everything about our city. I like the weather with the seasonal changes, the architecture, parks, the Brookfield and Lincoln Park zoo, the Morton Arboretum and Chicago Botanical Gardens. I enjoy the diversity and creativity. I enjoy the people. I like having a city with the Midwest feel.

My main dislike would be the rise in violence and crime.
