Meet Danielle Lenczuk, Nicole Galanti, and Casey Galanti of Bow & Arrow Collection

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Lenczuk, Nicole Galanti, Casey Galanti.

Danielle, Nicole, and Casey, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Bow & Arrow Collection started as way for the three of us sisters to combine our skills and create something we love. The store is how we inspire and celebrate all of life’s special moments. We began our journey in 2015 as a pop-up shop inside of a women’s clothing boutique, Felt Chicago, based in Logan Square. We also showcased our collection in a variety of markets around Chicago but always knew we wanted a space of our own. After finding the perfect location, we signed a lease on Milwaukee Avenue and did a full build out to craft a truly custom space. Bow & Arrow Collection opened its doors on Small Business Saturday in November 2016. We celebrated our two-year anniversary in November and we couldn’t be more grateful for the community’s support.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There are many different aspects to owning and running a small business. We are constantly learning something new every day and facing different challenges as they present themselves. Our best advice is to take it one step at a time and remember why you started your business in the first place. You have to put in the hard work to see success.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Bow & Arrow Collection – what should we know?
Bow & Arrow Collection is a Chicago-based gift store started by three sisters with a passion for parties & fun! Our goal is to create, inspire & share personalized experiences through curated products thoughtfully chosen to recognize & celebrate special moments — big & small. We specialize in gifting, paper and parties and curate our collection with the goal that you can truly find something for everyone. We are continuously in search of new products from unique brands or artists to add to the collection. We also host workshops and events as a way to bring the community together.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
We are thankful to have a lot of strong support from our family and friends, as well as a great small business community. Our neighbors have also been super supportive, and it’s been exciting to watch Milwaukee Avenue grow. We would also like to thank our incredible employees and regular customers who continue to support us!
