Today we’d like to introduce you to Connie Kulczycki.
Connie, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
The concept for Constantly | A Blog for the Girl on the Run was born in December 2016 and executed in March 2017.
With the initial intent to provide running plans & tips, my favorite cross-training workouts, and athleisure inspiration, Constantly began to morph into a general health & wellness blog, incorporating my journey with holistic wellness.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Starting a new journey is never smooth and while there have been quite a few bumps in the road (moving home with my parents, starting a new job, writers’ block, photography – I am so camera shy!), it has helped me grow into a stronger individual.
Looking back over the last year, the strides Constantly has taken and the people that are has impacted is motivation to fight through the lost words and awkward photo shoots, plus it adds a bit of personality, making it a more realistic medium for people to turn to.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Constantly | A Blog for the Girl on the Run – what should we know?
Constantly | A Blog for the Girl on the Run is a health & wellness blog based in the Chicagoland area. While I am currently focused on marathon training and trying to qualify for Boston, I find passion in any and all group fitness classes.
I enjoy testing new products in the health & wellness space (CBD salve is a win in my book!) and sharing my experiences, whether they are positive or negative which I believe to be one of the things that set me apart from the crowd.
I am very real with everything that I post – I share the good, the bad and the ugly because we are not all as perfect as our social lives so often portray. I have some big things planned for Constantly in 2018 (hint: I’m taking “on the run” to a whole other level) and I can’t wait to see where it takes the blog!
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
I’ve had an unbelievable amount of support including but not limited to my mother for her iPhone photography, the BibRave and the aSweatLife communities for numerous opportunities to test products, races & gyms, my friends for blog post ideas and my boyfriend for more encouragement than I thought was humanly possible. While Constantly mainly features myself, I have a whole team behind me and I am forever grateful.
